The SmartButton is a miniature-sized temperature logger that is extremely low-cost and easy to use. Enclosed in the ~1/2" diameter stainless steel case of the SmartButton is a memory chip, temperature sensor and battery. Each SmartButton comes with with a stick-on magnetic backing for easy mounting.
The memory allows for 2048 data recordings at a pre-programmed rate. For example: record at 5 minute intervals and the memory would last for 7 days.
The ambiant temperature the SmartLogger can record is -40 to 185 F (-40 to 85 C).
The accu.racy is +/-1.8 F between -22 to 113 F, and +/- 2.7 F above 114 F. Resolution is 8 bit (1 in 256).
The lithium 3 vdc battery will last approximately 10 years (based on continuous recording at 20 minute intervals at favorable temperatures). See lifetime table on 2nd page of literature. Most users will lose it or forget where it was installed before the battery dies.
